Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, congratulated Akhsar Dzhioev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs.

It is noted, in part:

"Your reappointment to such a responsible government post is a confirmation of the high level of trust and appreciation of your professional and personal qualities on the part of the Republic's leadership.

The strong fraternal relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of South Ossetia traditionally remain at a high level, as clearly demonstrated by the level of our interaction during the working visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.

At the same time, I have no doubt that the bilateral Abkhaz-South Ossetian alliance and brotherhood based on a solid foundation of mutual respect, understanding, and trust, will continue to grow stronger."
