The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a note of condolences to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in connection with the Day of Remembrance and Mourning for those killed in the city of Bendera.

It is noted, in particular:

“In the history of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, the date June 19, 1992 is one of the
most sorrowful pages. 32 years separate us from the bloody battles in the city of Bendera,
which claimed the lives of hundreds of people.

The people of the Republic of Abkhazia, who survived the Patriotic War of the People of
Abkhazia in 1992-1993. and who knows what pain is from the loss of his sons and daughters,
mourns today together with the fraternal people of Pridnestrovie.”
