"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic and strongly condemns the terrorist attack committed in a church in Damascus on June 22 this year.
The terrorist attack, which resulted in the death and injury of civilians, is nothing more than an attempt to undermine stability and security in Syria.
We are convinced that this treacherous terrorist attack will in no way affect the unity of the Syrian people and the efforts of the Syrian authorities to preserve and strengthen peace and security in the country.
At this difficult time, we express words of support to the brotherly Syrian people, sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded."
