As part of the visit, a meeting was held with Yevgeny Kozlov, Chargé d'Affaires of the Russian Federation in the Syrian Arab Republic.

During the meeting, the parties engaged in a thorough exchange of views on current issues of Russian-Abkhazian cooperation, as well as on a wide range of issues of mutual interest.

Oleg Bartsits noted the established good tradition of holding such meetings with Russian diplomatic representatives in host countries, emphasizing their importance for maintaining regular dialogue and further developing Russian-Abkhazian cooperation.
