The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a congratulatory note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Venezuela.

It is stated, in particular:

It marks the beginning of a new era in the formation of your state, symbolizes the desire of the people of Venezuela for freedom and the construction of an independent statehood. The people of the Republic of Abkhazia, well acquainted with all the trials on the path to achieving of independence, sincerely share with you the joy of this national holiday.

The Republic of Abkhazia attaches great importance to the progressive development of Abkhaz-Venezuelan relations based on the principles of trust and mutual consideration of interests. We are deeply convinced that further development of bilateral interaction will contribute to strengthening of cooperation and strategic partnership between our countries and peoples.
