Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia met with Louise Winton, the UNDP Permanent Representative on May 28,2020.

The implementation of projects aimed at combating of COVID 19 and the direction of further UNDP activities in Abkhazia were discussed during the meeting.

Louise Winton informed the Minister that much of what was done by UNDP was aimed at supporting people and protecting them. Daur Kove noted that it is necessary to pay attention to the large-scale projects, especially those aimed at supporting the agriculture.

The parties once again stressed the importance of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia and UNDP for further active work aimed at supporting of the population of Abkhazia
