Badra Gunba, the President of the Republic of Abkhazia signed a decree on appointing of Alyas Ayba as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua.
Biography
AIBA ALIAS DAUROVICH
Was born in 1988
From 2005 to 2010 - studied at the Abkhaz State University, Faculty of History, specializing in International Relations.
From 2010 to 2011- served in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Abkhazia (retired sergeant major).
From 2011 to 2013- studied at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and received a master's degree in International Relations.
In 2014 - served as a Referent in the Department of Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific Region of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.
In 2014 - was awarded the diplomatic rank of Attaché.
In 2014 - was awarded the diplomatic rank of Counselor of the 2-nd Class.
In 2014 - was expressed appreciation for conscientious service in his conscientious work.
In 2014 – was expressed appreciation for effective assistance in hosting of the international observer delegation for the early presidential elections of the Republic of Abkhazia.
In 2015- was awarded the Certificate of Honor for services to the Fatherland and personal contribution to the development of international cooperation and diplomatic activity.
From 2015 to 2017 - served as Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
In 2017- resigned at his own request.
From 2018 to 2022 - was the head of the Sukhumi branch of the Alashara NGO.
From 2018 to 2022 - Executive Secretary of the Sukhumi Branch of the VAK;
From 2024 to 2026 – was Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua;
In 2024 - was awarded the diplomatic rank of Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the 2-nd Class;
In February 2026 - was appointed Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua;
On February 12, 2026 - is appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua.
