From October 23 to 28, a delegation from the Council of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, at the invitation of the leadership of the Council of Young Diplomats of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is participating in the 8-th Global Forum of Young Diplomats "Diplomacy of Victory" which is being held in Moscow on the sidelines of the International Cooperation Forum, dedicated to the 100-th anniversary of public diplomacy, with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo and the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The delegation included Astanda Pataraya, Nuri Khvartskiya, and Nana Chachkhalia.Abkhazian Ministry of Foreign Affairs employees.

The forum is a unique platform for interaction and open exchange of views on current international issues among young representatives of foreign affairs agencies from various countries. This year, more than 130 participants from 60 countries are participating in the forum.
Speakers include senior representatives of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, prominent public and political figures, and experts in international relations.

This year's forum focuses on the 80-th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the 80-th anniversary of the UN, the formation of a new multipolar world system, digital technologies, and cooperation in youth policy, sports, education, and culture.

"This is an important discussion platform that gives us the opportunity to establish and strengthen professional contacts between young diplomats from around the world. It is a kind of diplomatic union aimed at developing of international cooperation based on trust and respect," noted Astanda Pataraia, Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Abkhazia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia.

Trilateral consultations between representatives of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of South Ossetia were also held on the sidelines of the international forum. During the consultations, a thorough exchange of views took place on a number of issues related to the work of young diplomats from the three countries.
The meeting of young diplomats from Abkhazia, Russia, and South Ossetia took place in a traditionally warm and friendly atmosphere.
