A delegation from the Republic of Abkhazia headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Bartsits met with representatives of the International Organization "Adyghe Khase" in Syria, which unites ethnic Abkhazians, Adyghe, Abaza, Circassians and representatives of other fraternal peoples.

During the meeting with the recently elected chairman of the Circassian Charity Association (Adyghe Khase) in Syria Hisham Kat and the chairman of the Association of Circassian Public Solidarity in Syria Abdurrahman Bagasa, further steps to strengthen cooperation with the abkhaz-adyg diaspora were discussed.

During the talks, the parties discussed possible areas of cooperation and development of relations with the abkhaz-adyg diaspora, focusing on cultural and social projects that can be implemented jointly.

The Embassy of Abkhazia in Syria continues to actively interact with representatives of the abkhaz-adyg diaspora and provides support in the implementation of various initiatives aimed at strengthening cultural and interpersonal ties.
