On July 1, 2026, negotiations will be held within the framework of the relevant working groups of the 67th round of the International Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasia (IDT). During these negotiations, the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia will present its position on key issues on the agenda, including ensuring long-term security guarantees, preventing the use of force by Georgia against the Republic of Abkhazia, and maintaining the IDT as a functioning international mechanism for continuing direct dialogue between the participants in the negotiation process.

On June 30, 2026, the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia began consultations as part of the 67th round of the International Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia (IDT), taking place in Geneva.
