Against the backdrop of recent statements by Georgian politicians about their readiness for constructive dialogue with the Republic of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, including the statement by the Chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream party Bidzina Ivanishvili, who stated that "Georgia will have to apologize to the Ossetian side for 2008 and punish the former ruling party", the Republic of Abkhazia expected the rise of pragmatic interaction based on the recognition of the realities that have developed in Transcaucasia.

However, instead of a pragmatic approach aimed at regulating relations, the Georgian authorities continue to make formulaic, politically biased and unrealistic statements that have become boring and only create additional tension. The latest attacks by the Georgian leadership are an attempt to hinder processes that are irreversible.

Such approaches not only do not contribute to the resolution of the protracted crisis, but also undermine the very possibility of dialogue, only increasing mutual distrust between our countries.

In this regard, the Republic of Abkhazia once again calls on Georgia to abandon confrontational rhetoric, sign a legally binding Agreement on the Non-Use of Force and begin a new stage of constructive dialogue that takes into account political and legal realities formed after the 1992-1993 and 2008 conflicts.
