The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia draws the attention of citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia to the fact that in response to the appeal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation regarding the entry into force on June 30, 2025 of the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1510 of November 7, 2024 "On conducting an experiment to test the rules and conditions for entry into the Russian Federation and exit from the Russian Federation of foreign citizens and stateless persons", the following notification was received.

According to the information provided by the Russian side, the experiment is voluntary, the absence of a completed entry application in accordance with the resolution will not affect the conduct of border control and will not become a ground for refusing entry into the territory of the Russian Federation.

In this regard, we draw the attention of citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia to the fact that the procedure for entry into the Russian Federation for citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia remains unchanged.
