During a working visit to Moscow, Oleg Bartsits, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia met with Dmitry Savelyev, State Duma Deputy from the United Russia party, member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, and General Director of the Center for Public Diplomacy. Valeria Manovitskaya, coordinator of the Center's branch in Abkhazia also participated in the meeting.
The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Center for Public Diplomacy. Specifically, the meeting focused on expanding of contacts and intensifying cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia in the humanitarian, cultural, and economic spheres with the countries where the Center operates.
During the meeting, which was held in a constructive atmosphere, an agreement was reached for the Center for Public Diplomacy in conjunction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support projects that will improve Abkhazia's positioning on the international stage, enhance its visibility, and promote its positive image abroad.
