The inauguration ceremony was held at the Revolution Square in Managua, capital of Nicaragua. Among the honored guests were the Presidents of Venezuela, Honduras and El Salvador, as well as heads of ministries and departments of other countries.

During their stay the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia in Nicaragua, met with colleagues from individual ministries and agencies, as well as with representatives of the Administration of the President of Nicaragua. A number of issues were discussed related to the further development of bilateral Abkhaz-Nicaraguan cooperation.
The delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia, led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Daur Kove, included the Deputy Minister Oleg Arshba and officers of the Abkhazian MFA Madina Zukhba, Tengiz Tarba and Saria Dzhopua.
