At the invitation of the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Inar Ladaria, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua accompanied by Javier Arrue, the Ambassador of Venezuela to Nicaragua and Ernesto Martinez Tiffer, engineer General Director of the Nicaraguan Electric Power Company (ENEL), took part in the closing ceremony of the Hugo Chavez Frias Friendship of Peoples Softball Championship.

The event, organized as part of strengthening ties between the countries brought together more than 250 baseball enthusiasts representing various organizations and departments located in Nicaragua. During the closing ceremony, officials emphasized the spirit of cooperation and brotherhood that characterizes relations between the countries, noting sport as a key tool for integration and public diplomacy.

At the end of the tournament, a protocol ceremony was held during which awards were presented to the participants, which emphasized the values of unity and solidarity promoted by this sporting competition.
