At the initiative of the Official Representation of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, meetings were held between Alexander Vataman, the Plenipotentiary Representative of Abkhazia in Pridnestrovie and Ilona Tyuryaeva, the Head of the Administration of the cities of Tiraspol and Dnestrovsk and Yuri Kara, the Chairman of the Bendery City Council of People's Deputies.

The meetings discussed possible areas and forms of interaction within the framework of the existing agreements between the cities of Sukhum and Tiraspol, Ochamchira and Bendery.
