On September 30, the 32nd anniversary of the Victory in the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia (1992-1993), a meeting was held at the Official Representative Office of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic between the Plenipotentiary Representative of Abkhazia in Pridnestrovie, Alexander Vataman, and volunteer Sergey Belinsky, who came to help Abkhazia in the spring of 1993.

Welcoming the guest, Alexander Vataman noted: "Abkhazia will always remember the help of the volunteers who, with their courage and bravery, helped bring September 30, 1993, Victory Day, closer. It was the volunteer movement that became a model of true fraternal assistance and support, and the names of Pridnestrovians, including you, esteemed Sergey Nikolayevich, are inscribed in this movement."

The diplomat expressed words of appreciation and gratitude to Sergey Belinsky and, through him, to all the volunteers from Pridnestrovie who came to the rescue during the most difficult period for the country and fought with arms in hand for Abkhazia and the people of Abkhazia.

During the meeting, Sergey Belinsky recounted the most memorable moments of that period.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Abkhazia, Vladislav Ardzinba, expressed gratitude to Sergey Nikolayevich Belinsky for his participation in the Tamysh Operation. Sergey Belinsky was awarded the "For Courage" and "For Victory" medals.
