On November 3, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic Muhammad Ali met the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Syria Dr. Muhammad Ghazi Al-Jalali.

Ambassador Muhammad Ali confirmed the commitment of the Republic of Abkhazia to the security and stability of Syria, support for its territorial integrity, and condemnation of interference in the internal affairs of the country.

During the meeting, the importance of developing and strengthening Abkhazian-Syrian relations, as well as the efforts made by the Governments of the two countries to develop interstate cooperation in various fields, were noted.

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Syria Dr. Muhammad Ghazi Al-Jalali confirmed the Government's desire to strengthen and develop bilateral relations in the field of economy, trade, science, culture and tourism, as well as to intensify the signed agreements and the work of the Joint Abkhazian-Syrian Committee on Economic, Trade, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Dr. Case Muhammad Khodr.
