As part of strengthening of social, cultural, and humanitarian ties between the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Syrian Arab Republic and the Abkhaz-Circassian community in the Syrian Arab Republic, Muhammad Ali, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Abkhazia to Syria and Ahmad Badawi, representative of the Department of Political Affairs visited the headquarters of the Circassian Charity Society in Aleppo.

Muhammad Ali was received by Maher Ishak, Head of the Circassian Charity Association in Aleppo, board members, and several representatives of the Caucasus diaspora.

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen ties between the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Syrian Arab Republic and representatives of the diaspora, to learn their situation, and to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the context of joint events and support for the Abkhaz-Circassian community in Aleppo.
