June 5, 2025 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Zaur Gvadzhava, at the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Secretariat of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA) Clarems Endara, took part in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Panama Agreement, the founding document of SELA.

In his opening speech, SELA Permanent Secretary, Ambassador Clarems Endara, reaffirmed the organization's commitment to regional integration as a key factor in overcoming the common challenges of Latin America and the Caribbean and building a more equitable, inclusive and sustainable future.

SELA member states, the diplomatic corps accredited to Venezuela, the media and other guests attended the event.
