The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a note of condolence to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Mali in connection with numerous victims in the terrorist attack at a military camp in the town of Gao.

The note reads, in particular:

"The tragic news of the heinous act of terrorism in the Republic of Mali, which resulted in numerous casualties and injuries, was perceived with great sorrow in the Republic of Abkhazia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia strongly condemns terrorism in all its manifestations and expresses deep condolences to the families and friends of those killed, and wishes a speedy recovery to the victims."
