The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a note of condolences to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in connection with the 33rd anniversary of the tragic events in Bendery.

It is stated in particular:

"This memorable date is a reminder of the cruelty of war and the irreparable losses suffered by the Transnistrian people in the struggle for their freedom and right to self-determination. We mourn together with you for the dead civilians, the defenders of Transnistria and all who fell victim to this tragedy.

Abkhazia, which survived its own war for independence, deeply understands the pain of loss. We will always remember the heroism of the Transnistrian people and their resilience in the face of injustice."
