The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a note of condolences to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic.

The note, in particular, states:

"We received the news of the terrorist attack that occurred in the capital of the Syrian Arab Republic with deep sorrow and indignation. It is particularly painful that this inhumane crime, which resulted in the harm of innocent people, was committed in the midst of a distinguished guest's visit, underscoring its provocative and cynical nature.

We strongly condemn terrorism in all its manifestations and believe that such actions cannot be justified."

We are convinced that through the efforts of the Syrian government and the entire international community, those responsible for organizing and committing the crimes will brought to justice.”
