On July 14, 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, Oleg Bartsits, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Abkhazia, Vyacheslav Gladkov.

During the meeting, the sides continued a detailed exchange of views on a wide range of bilateral issues. Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of cooperation, especially of combined measures to strengthen bilateral medium-range collaboration.
