On October 1, 2024, Sergey Shamba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, hosted a meeting with Anastasia Udaltsova, the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, member of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation faction. The meeting was also attended by Lasha Avidzba, the Head of the Consular Department of the Abkhazian Foreign Ministry.

During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on current issues of Abkhaz-Russian interaction and cooperation.

Anastasia Udaltsova arrived in the Republic of Abkhazia to celebrate the 31-st anniversary of the Victory in the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia in 1992-1993, as well as to participate in the «Shamba Readings», which will be held at the Abkhazian State University.
