On February 28, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia hosted a meeting between Sergey Shamba, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Vito Grittani, Ambassador-at-Large of the MFA of Abkhazia. The meeting was attended by Kan Tania, Advisor to the Embassy of Abkhazia in Russia.

Vito Grittani told Sergey Shamba about the current aspects of the work carried out by the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Abkhazia in Italy. In particular, he reported on the results of the work to disseminate information in Italy about the first round of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia, which took place on February 15 this year. The diplomatic mission prepared and published about 50 articles.

He emphasized that active work on providing reliable information about the Republic of Abkhazia in Italy will continue. Also, Vito Grittani and Kan Tania, who are responsible for the work of the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Abkhazia in Italy handed over a comprehensive report on the work done from 2019 to 2024 to Sergey Shamba.

The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
