The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia regards the events of November 15 as an attempted coup d'état. The events happened damage the international image of our country and negatively affects relations with our strategic ally, the Russian Federation.

The President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania is in the republic and continues to lead the country. All necessary measures are being taken to ensure stable functioning of the state, all government bodies are operating as usual.
