The official meeting of Bagrat Khutaba, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic with Abdullah Ali Sabri, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Yemen took place in the city of Damascus at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Yemen in the Syrian Arab Republic on March 15, 2021.

The meeting was also attended by Yasser Al Muhallal, the Advisor to the Ambassador of Yemen in the SAR, Muhammad Ali, the Advisor to the Ambassador of Abkhazia to the SAR as well as Hasan Kuteiba, the Assistant to the Ambassador of Abkhazia to Syria.

Bagrat Khutaba, the Ambassador of Abkhazia to Syria congratulated Abdullah Ali Sabri on the occasion of assumption of the office of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Yemen to the Syrian Arab Republic.

Bagrat Khutaba expressed his wishes for an early peace in Yemen and invited Abdullah Ali Sabri to visit the Republic of Abkhazia.

The parties exchanged views on the possible areas of the bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Islamic Republic of Yemen as well as the strengthening of relations between the states.
