Today Inal Ardzinba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia presented the newly appointed Alkhas Kvitsinia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Russian Federation at the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Russian Federation.

In his speech, the Minister stressed that the Embassy should become an effective center for the promotion of national interests of the Republic of Abkhazia.

"The President of the Republic of Abkhazia will monitor the work of the Embassy, and we very much expect that the effectiveness of the department will grow in line with the growing challenges and tasks," the Minister said.

Alkhas Kvitsinia thanked the President of the Republic of Abkhazia for the trust and expressed hope for the fruitful work with the staff of the Embassy.

Aslan Bzhania, the President of the Republic of Abkhazia signed a Decree on appointment of Alkhas Kvitsinia as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Russian Federation on November 30, 2022.
