On July 26, at the invitation of the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua, the Ambassador of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Republic of Nicaragua, Inar Ladaria, took part in an event dedicated to the celebration of the 69th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada barracks, led by Comandante Fidel Castro.

This assault marked the beginning of the Cuban Revolution. As part of the event, the Ambassador met with the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Nicaragua, who conveyed heartfelt congratulations from the leadership of the Republic of Nicaragua and on his own behalf to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, Inal Ardzinba, on the occasion of his birthday.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the government of the Republic of Nicaragua and the diplomatic corps.
