The Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia in Venezuela, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, organized a ceremony at the National Pantheon and Mausoleum of the Liberator Simon Bolivar in the city of Caracas.
The ceremony was headed by Zaur Gvadzhava, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and Franklin Ramirez, the Deputy Minister for European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
During the ceremony, the Military Band of the Bolivarian Army performed the Anthem of the Republic of Abkhazia and the Anthem of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Deputy Minister Franklin, on behalf of the people and government of Venezuela, congratulated the Ambassador of Abkhazia on this significant date and confirmed Venezuela’s desire to further strengthen the bonds of friendship and brotherhood between the two countries.

Sergei Melik-Bagdasarov, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Venezuela personally congratulated Zaur Gvadzhava, the Ambassador of Abkhazia, noting that Abkhazia is a fraternal country and will always count on the support and solidarity of Russia and will always count on Russia’s support and solidarity.
