Zaur Gvadzhava, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela arrived in the Republic of Nicaragua with a working visit on March 31,2019.
Siciliya Arguello, the Head of the European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua as well as the staff of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Nicaragua greeted the Ambassador of the Republic of Abkhazia at the airport of Managua.
Zaur Gvadzhava, the Ambassador of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela presented copies of the Credentials to Denis Moncada Colindres, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia on April 1,2019.
Mr. Moncade Colindres thanked the Ambassador of the Republic of Abkhazia and noted: “Abkhazia is a fraternal country with which we intend to continue cooperation and strengthen fraternal relations”. In turn, Zaur Gvadzhava stressed that the support of Nicaragua and the support of Commander Daniel Ortega is very important for the people of Abkhazia. “The support that the people of Nicaragua provided for the independence of our country will always be in the hearts of the people of Abkhazia,” the Ambassador said.
Laureano Ortega Murillo, the assistant to the President for Investment Projects and the representatives of public institutions of the Republic of Nicaragua attended a dinner which was organized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nicaragua on 2 April,2019.
The working meeting of the Ambassador of the Republic of Abkhazia with Bosco Castillo, the Minister for Youth Policy and concurrently the Assistant Director of the Nicaraguan Institute of Agricultural Technologies and a member of the National System of Production, Consumption and Trade was held on April 3,2019. The next meeting was held with Budaev A.V., the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Nicaragua and Leontyev S. V., the Minister-Counselor.
The originals of the Credentials were presented to Daniel Ortega, the President of the Republic of Nicaragua in the evening on April 3 were also was Rosario Murillo, the Vice President. The Ambassador of the Republic of Abkhazia thanked the President of the Republic of Nicaragua for all the support from the people of Nicaragua and said that he hoped for further strengthening of relations between the two countries on behalf of the President and the people of Abkhazia.
Zaur Gvadzhava, conveyed an invitation to Daniel Ortega, the President of Nicaragua and Rosario Murillo, the Vice President to visit the Republic of Abkhazia at any convenient time on behalf of Raul Khadzhimba, the President of the Republic of Abkhazia and also presented a souvenir on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia.
