On November 7, 2022, Zaur Gvadzhava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, met with Ivan Khil, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state of bilateral cooperation between Abkhazia and Venezuela, and discussed the current situation in the international arena.

Mutual interest was expressed in further intensification of bilateral interstate cooperation.
