On November 22, 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Iraklii Tuzhba held a meeting with the Co-Chairs of the Geneva International Discussions on Security and Stability in the Transcaucasus - with the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar, the UN Representative Cihan Sultanoğlu and with the OSCE Co-Chairman Viorel Mosanu.

The key topic of the meeting was the discussion of the next 59th round of the Geneva Discussions. During the meeting, issues of security and stability in the region, issues of resuming the work of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM), problems related to freedom of movement, as well as other pressing issues of the agenda of the upcoming round of the GID were discussed.

The 59th round of the International Geneva Discussions on stability and security in the Transcaucasus will take place in Geneva on December 5-6, 2023.
