The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba sent a congratulatory note to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela Carlos Rafael Faria Tortos on the occasion of the twelfth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

The message of congratulations, in particular, says:

 “In a relatively short period of time, strong bonds of friendship have been formed between our states, based on a sense of deep mutual respect and trust. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries, there has been steady interaction in the political, humanitarian and other spheres. 

I am convinced that, based on the positive potential of cooperation accumulated over the years of interstate cooperation, we will be able to further build up strategic cooperation and fill it with new content.This will undoubtedly serve the well-being of our peoples.”
