The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia, Inal Ardzinba, sent a congratulatory address to Mikhail Shurgalin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Abkhazia, on the occasion of the national holiday of National Unity Day.

It is noted, in particular:

“On this day, Russians pay tribute to their ancestors, who, under the leadership of Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky, heroically defended their native land from foreign invaders. Today this holiday is filled with a special meaning, reminding us of the importance and strength of the unity of the people.”

The Minister wished peace and prosperity to the Ambassador and the staff of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Abkhazia.
