The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a note of condolences to the Official Representation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in the Republic of Abkhazia in connection with the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow for those who died in the city of Bendery.

It is specifically stated:

“The barbaric crime committed 31 years ago by the armed formations of the Republic of Moldova has no statute of limitations.
Today, the people of the Republic of Abkhazia share the pain of the loss of the people of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and honor the memory of civilians and defenders of their native land.”
