The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a congratulatory note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua on the occasion of the celebration of the 38th anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution.
The note says, in particular:
"July 19, 1979 is the most important date in the history of Nicaragua marking the beginning of a new era in the formation of the state and symbolizing the desire of the Nicaraguan people for freedom and justice. The residents of the Republic of Abkhazia share with you the joy of this holiday with all their heart.
We highly appreciate the warm friendly relations that have developed between our states. We are deeply convinced that with joint efforts we will be able to achieve even greater success in strengthening and developing our partnership. "
