The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a note of condolences to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia on the occasion of the 29-th anniversary of the Zar tragedy.

It is said:

“The crime committed by the Georgian fascists on May 20, 1992 has no statute of limitations and cannot be forgotten. Several dozen civilians became the victims of the monstrous aggression. The bright memory of them will always be alive.

The Republic of Abkhazia shares the pain of the fraternal South Ossetian people on this mournful day.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia avails itself of this opportunity to renews to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia the assurances of its highest considiration.
