The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a congratulatory note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua on the occasion of Independence Day of the Republic of Nicaragua.

It is stated, in part:

“This day is an important date in the history of Nicaragua. It symbolizes the desire of the people of Nicaragua to build an independent statehood. The people of Abkhazia, well familiar with all the trials on the path to achieving independence, sincerely share with you the joy of this significant day.

We highly value the allied and fraternal relations that have developed between our states. We are convinced that through joint efforts we will continue to develop full-format bilateral cooperation and strategic interaction and fill it with new content. This will undoubtedly serve the well-being of our friendly peoples.”
