The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia expresses its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Walid Hamdi Abaz Marshyan, the General in connection with his untimely death after a long and serious illness.

The most worthy representative of the Abkhaz nation prominent military and public figure Walid Marshan, the General devoted his life to the protection of the Syrian Arab Republic from enemies and played an outstanding role in strengthening of bonds and friendship between the nations of Abkhazia and Syria.
