The regular consultations of the mechanism for foreign policy coordination established by the Memorandum between the Abkhazian Foreign Ministry and the Russian Foreign Ministry were held in Moscow on March 11, 2015.
Igor Akhba, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Russian Federation and Alexei Pavlovsky, the Director of the Fourth CIS Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry took part in the consultations.
A wide range of issues of the bilateral relations were discussed, including: the strengthening and further development of cooperation between the Republic of Abkhazia with the subjects of the Russian Federation; further strengthening and promotion of the international positions of Abkhazia as well as the situation in the region.
The practice of the regular mutual consultations will be continued.
