Inal Ardzinba appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia

On November 18, 2021 Aslan Bzhania, President of the Republic of Abkhazia introduced Inal Batuvich Ardzinba, the new Minister of Foreign Affairs to the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia.

Inal Ardzinba replaced Daur Kove, who held this position since October 2016.


Inal Batuvich Ardzinba

Ardzinba Inal Batuvich was born on July 26, 1990 in Sukhum.

2007- Finished the Gorskiy Secondary School № 10 in Sukhum.

2012- Graduated from the Faculty of World Economy and World Politics of the National Research University "Higher School of Economics".

2012 - Head of the research group "Youth Strategy 2020", President of the World Economy Association of the National Research University of Higher School of Economics. 2010-2012- Chairperson of the organizing committee of 30 international conferences and forums held by NRU HSE.

2012- Head of the Russian delegation at the G8 Youth Summit in Washington as a results of the All-Russian selection process

2013- Head the delegation of the Russian Federation at the «Youth 20» Summit in St. Petersburg and the «Youth G8» Summit in London. He presented the final declaration of the Youth Summits to V. Putin, the President of the Russian Federation.

 2012 - Co-founder of the BRICS Youth Summit.

2012 - 2013 - Advisor to the President at Rosgosstrakh Corporation.

2013 - 2018. - Consultant, chief advisor, and head of department of the Russian President's Department for Social and Economic Cooperation with the CIS Member States, Abkhazia, and South Ossetia in the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation.

2017- The class rank of actual state advisor of the Russian Federation, 3rd class (the class rank of the highest group of federal civil servants, assigned for life and corresponding to the rank - major-general) was awarded to Inal Ardzinba by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation.

2017- Topped the rating of young leaders of the Eurasian Union, Abkhazia, and South Ossetia, compiled by the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration

2017- Initiated the creation of the "Goodwill Ambassadors of Abkhazia" charitable movement

2018- Awarded a diploma of the President of the Russian Federation for his contribution to the preparation and holding of the XIX World Festival of Youth and Students 2017 in Sochi.

2018- Chairman of the Council under the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia.

2020- Founded the "Pride of Abkhazia" contest for young managers.

Since 2021, together with Aslan Bzhania, the President of the RA, he is the honorary chairperson of the platform for supporting of young leaders "The Future of Abkhazia".
