The meeting between Irakli Tuzhba, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia with Andrey Rudenko, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation was held at the Russian Foreign Ministry in preparation for the 53-rd round of the Geneva Discussions on June 25, 2021.The meeting was also attended by Murat Dzhioev, the Head of the South Ossetian delegation to the International Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia.

The participants discussed the most pressing issues on the agenda of the upcoming round during the working meeting on the eve of the next round of the Geneva Discussions, scheduled for June 29-30. The priority attention was paid to the conclusion of a legally binding agreement on the non-use of force between Georgia, on the one hand, and Abkhazia and South Ossetia, on the other, as well as the other topical issues.
