On the occasion of the 25-th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia, the jubilee edition "The diplomacy of the Republic of Abkhazia: 25 years at the service of a sovereign state" was prepared.
The book is devoted to the place and role of the Foreign Ministry in the system of external relations of the Republic of Abkhazia, the organizational structure of the department and the work of its structural units. The process of formation of the modern foreign policy of Abkhazia, the current political and diplomatic activity of the Foreign Ministry as well as the practice of public diplomacy are also covered.
As an appendix, the publication includes documents regulating the activities of the foreign policy department.
The authors of the book are Kan Taniya, the Deputy Foreign Minister and Timur Shanava, the Minister Counselor. Sergei Shamba, the Doctor of History and Vyacheslav Chirikba, the Doctor of Philology took part in the preparation of the book as scientific editors.
