On July 25, Zaur Gvadjava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela had a working meeting with Ali Padron, Minister of Tourism of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela at the headquarters of the Ministry of Tourism in Caracas.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state of bilateral cooperation and discussed aspects of normalization of relations in the sphere of tourism between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
During the meeting Zaur Gvadjava thanked Ali Padron for the warm reception and told the minister about the history, culture and tourism potential of the Republic of Abkhazia.
During the meeting, both sides expressed interest in the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the sphere of tourism between Abkhazia and Venezuela.
The Minister of Tourism Ali Padron thanked Zaur Guajava for the visit and conveyed warm greetings on behalf of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro Moros to the leadership and people of Abkhazia.
Minister Padron noted that Nicolas Maduro is currently working to strengthen relations and further develop cooperation with countries friendly to Venezuela, among which is the Republic of Abkhazia.
He also extended an invitation to the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Abkhazia to participate in the International Fair of Tourism of Venezuela (Fitven), which will be held in the state of Anzoátegui in November.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides exchanged memorable gifts.
