Celebrations were attended by Vadim Krasnoselsky, the head of the state, Alexander Shcherba, the Chairman of the Supreme Council, Alexander Martynov, the Prime Minister, parliamentarians, heads of ministries and departments, representatives of political parties and public organizations.
The event began with the speech by the President of the PMR in which the results of the next stage of the struggle for independence were summed up, analysis and tasks for the future were made. Vadim Krasnoselsky reminded that in early 2017 the economy of the republic was in the critical condition. Thanks to the number of managerial decisions and transformations, the situation was stabilized: salaries and pensions were paid in full and on time, the situation in the foreign exchange market was normalized, thanks to the liquidation of gray schemes the enterprises demonstrate positive dynamics. "The next 27th anniversary of the foundation of Pridnestrovie is the confirmation that our republic has fully formed as a legitimate, integral and independent part of the world community," the president emphasized.
Alexander Vataman, the plenipotentiary representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in PMR also addressed the audience.
