The third meeting of the interdepartmental Russian-Abkhaz working commission on the resumption of sea passenger traffic between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia was held in Yalta on June 4,2019.

The Russian delegation was represented by Aleksey Chernyak, the Chairman of the Committee of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea on sanatorium-resort complex and tourism, Rustem Tagarov, the Deputy Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, Stanislav Shaportov, the Deputy Head of the Yalta City Administration and other officials.

The parties came to an understanding of the need to solve this problem as soon as possible.
