Comment by Inal Ardzinba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia:

Participation in the integration processes, including in the military sphere, is the sovereign choice of the Republic of Abkhazia.
The creation of the necessary infrastructure for the Logistics Support Point of the Russian Navy in the Republic of Abkhazia corresponds to the fundamental interests of our people and helps strengthen our security.

We draw attention to the need for the speedy signing of a mutually binding agreement on the non-use of force, which has been discussed for several years at the Geneva discussions.

This is not a question that needs to be delayed. We are supporters of peace. However, Georgia's position does not contribute to improving the security situation in the South Caucasus region.

We also draw attention to the inadmissibility of interference in the internal affairs of our state.
