On November 6, 2021 the Delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia, headed by Daur Kove, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia arrived in the Republic of Nicaragua to participate in the presidential and legislative elections in Nicaragua as observers.

The Nicaraguan presidential elections will take place on November 7. More than ten political parties will take part in the elections. The ruling Sandinista National Liberation Front on August 2 endorsed Daniel Ortega, the President and his wife, Rosario Murillo,the Vice President, as their candidate pair.
